At Kampphotography we always strive to make things more simple for couples. Weddings are a large financial commitment, which means large lump sum payments at certain times, which sometimes means cutting corners to stay on budget. One thing that we hold close to our heart is photographs (strange right? Lol) they are the one thing that you get to keep, the reminder of the day that was, who was there, and how dang awesome that day was.
When we were married a few years back, we decided go the super low cost route of hiring our photographer off Kijiji… we paid a huge total of $800 for our photographs, and to put it plain and simple, they sucked. They sucked real bad. So bad in fact, we have never printed a single photo, and we basically pretend they don’t exist. “But you’re wedding photographers… you should know better!” you may be thinking to yourself… well you’re right — but at the time we were young, as was our business, and the true importance of wedding photographs, and what they mean, wasn’t truly apparent to us yet.
To make sure more couples can get awesome photos they are proud of, we have introduced a Pre-Authorized Debit payment plan. PAD payments are simple, and you probably already use them for things like your phone or cable bill. Essentially its when you give a VOID cheque to a business, and they debit your bank account once a month. Its simple, there are absolutely no fees attached to it, its completely automated, and it eliminates the need for large lump some payments. We use a Canadian company to process these payments, and we never see your banking information. Its totally secure, and totally easy.
The payment plan lasts for 12 or 18 months, regardless of when you book compared to the wedding date. What does that mean — if you book with us 6 months before your wedding, the payments are still spread across the 12 or 18 month time frame, or of course at any time you can pay the remaining balance. Your photographs are still delivered in the same time frame and the same way, we don’t want anyone to fear having to wait for the 12 or 18 month term to end, that’s not how we roll.
The Kampphotography Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) Payment Plan
-Length 12 or 18 months – The cost of your photography is split into equal monthly payments across 12 or 18 months (they start of the 15th of the month, the month after submitting your contract) there is no service fee, or percentage added to your total
-You still receive all your photographs as soon as they are complete
-Eliminates lump sum payments
-Makes awesome photos more attainable
-Remaining balance can be paid off at any time, no fees or penalties to do so
-If your payment doesn’t go through there is a $50 NSF fee
-Payments need to be in good standing on the wedding date
-Couples are not required to use the PAD system, its just one of the payment options we offer
